That les Frasserands used to be mainly farmland and had very few houses is hard to believe when seeing today’s cluster of chalets. Many of the chalets has been passed down, generation after generation.

    Chalets des Frasserands is ment to be a modern day historical document for present and future generations to help them understand their heritage. Change is inevitable and it is what creates the present. For me as an architect this is a very important tool to be able to understand my surroundings. To think that history has to be old to be important is a deception?! It is so easy to take something familiar for granted and being in the center of it all one might not even notice that it is constantly changing.
